Our team values professionalism, personalized care, and a warm, collaborative environment. We strive to create a comfortable and trusting experience for each patient. Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality preventive dental care, educate patients on oral health, and contribute to a positive practice atmosphere. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building patient relationships and working in a smaller practice setting. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services including: Prophylaxis (teeth cleaning) Periodontal scaling and root planing Application of sealants and fluorides Take and document periodontal charting Take digital radiographs (x-rays) Assess patients' oral health and record findings Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, home care, and preventive strategies Collaborate with the dentist to support treatment planning Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Adhere to all OSHA and infection control protocols Provide gentle, patient-focused care with excellent chairside manner Qualifications Current California RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) license CPR certification (BLS) Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient education Professional demeanor and ability to work independently Comfortable working in a small practice environment Experience with digital radiography preferred Experience with dental practice software (Eaglesoft) a plus
Schedule Part-time:
Mondays and/or Wednesdays for 7-14 hrs/week Specific days/times flexible, with potential for scheduling regular weekly hoursJob Type:
