Job Description

Registered Dental Hygienist Mountain View Family Dentistry Mountain View, CA Job Details Part-time $600 a day 21 hours ago Qualifications Cleaning and sanitation procedure implementation CPR Certification Preparing dental treatment areas Dental equipment Clean workspace maintenance Associate's degree Registered Dental Hygienist AED Certification Full Job Description Hello! We are currently looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist that is available on either Wednesdays , Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm. Skills/Responsibilities Conversational ; during these unsure times we would like for our hygienists to make patients feel as comfortable as possible. Someone who can be very explanatory/descriptive to put the patient at ease. Competent and Experienced ; alongside cleaning and protecting patients' teeth, one of the jobs required for this is to assist Dr. Lou in diagnosing patients. This includes being very thorough in the procedures needed for the patient and ensuring the patient's overall well-being. Being such an important part of the patient's treatment, we ask that you can be confident and competent in your recommendations. Tidy/Work Area Awareness ; especially now in the middle of a pandemic, we take our office's cleanliness very seriously. This includes cleaning your work area to our
COVID-19
standards, disinfecting and maintaining dental equipment, and a reduction in unnecessary patient-hygienist interactions. This is mainly to maintain our clean and virus-free reputation, and we will become more lenient as time passes and the pandemic gradually lessens.
Overall Personality/Friendliness :
of course, we ask that you can be as welcoming and friendly to patients as possible. It takes a lot for some patients to even book an appointment because of their dental anxiety, so we want them to feel as comfortable as possible. This goes above just being explanatory, as we want the whole patient experience to be positive so that the next time they come in, all they see are friendly faces greeting them. Once you are a part of the office, we treat you like family, so we only ask that you do the same towards patients.
