Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dedicated team one day a week . In this role, you will be the frontline champion for our patients' oral health, focusing on preventive treatments, thorough clinical assessments, and highly personalized patient education.

7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (includes a dedicated 1-hour lunch break ) We are happy to be flexible on exact hours to accommodate the lifestyle or scheduling needs of the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and polishing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains, ensuring thorough cleaning of patients' teeth. Take dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring high-quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols. Assess patient and review medical histories to identify potential concerns. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing techniques, and dietary advice to promote long-term dental health. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) system - PracticeWorks, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Follow infection prevention protocols by practicing aseptic techniques, sterilizing dental equipment, and managing infection control procedures diligently. Support patient care by assessing dental needs, explaining treatment plans clearly, and ensuring a positive patient experience from start to finish. Manage dental equipment operation and troubleshooting to ensure smooth clinical workflows. Uphold confidentiality standards by maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Qualifications Active State License as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) . Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program. Active CPR/BLS certification.
