This is not a traditional front-desk position. We are looking for someone who understands dentistry and can effectively guide patients from diagnosis through treatment. Key Responsibilities Treatment Coordination & Follow-up Present comprehensive treatment plans clearly and confidently. Explain treatment priorities, options, sequencing and timing. Help patients make informed decisions and schedule recommended treatment. Address concerns related to cost, insurance, fear and scheduling. Coordinate multi-visit treatment plans. Own and actively manage the unscheduled treatment list . Track outstanding treatment and develop effective follow-up strategies. Maintain organized recall and follow-up recall lists. Insurance & Financial Coordination Understand PPO dental insurance, benefits and estimated patient portions. Explain treatment fees, estimates and payment/financing options. Understand CDT codes and common dental procedures. Work with insurance teams to resolve questions and discrepancies. Patient Experience & Teamwork Work closely with the dentist, hygienists, assistants and front-office team. Help maintain a productive doctor schedule. Provide a professional, warm and reassuring patient experience while supporting treatment acceptance. Qualifications Required Required 3+ years of dental treatment coordination experience 5+ years of dental experience is strongly preferred Dentrix experience Experience with crowns, bridges, implants, periodontal treatment, endodontics and other comprehensive restorative care Experience with comprehensive treatment plans Excellent communication, organization and follow-up skills Comfortable discussing treatment fees and financial arrangements Confident, personable and professional
Pay:
From $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
