About California Dental Wellness Center We're a dental office in Sunnyvale that works closely with functional medicine providers, and most of our patients come to us by referral. That means our patients arrive informed, invested, and looking for a level of care most practices can't offer. Our team rises to meet that. We work with advanced diagnostics and protocols including CBCT, Trios, PRF, guided biofilm therapy with EMS Airflow, dental operating microscopes, salivary microbiome testing, and dental sleep medicine. What You'll Do Comprehensive periodontal therapy, scaling and root planing, and guided biofilm therapy Own patient education conversations — periodontal status, oral-systemic connections, home care protocols Support our salivary diagnostics and dental sleep medicine workflow, including patient coordination and follow-up Digital imaging, periodontal charting, and accurate clinical documentation Partner with the doctor on treatment planning and case presentation from a hygiene lens Collaborate with our treatment coordinator and front team to keep the day flowing smoothly Requirements Active California RDH license, required Minimum 2 years of clinical hygiene experience, required Clinical comprehension beyond routine prophylaxis, strongly preferred Comfort with dental software and digital imaging (we'll train the right person) Strong attention to detail and genuine love of patient communication The Role Part-time, 2-4 days , 8:00am-4:00pm One-doctor, private practice — no corporate, no revolving door A team and pace built for growth, stability, and real communication Benefits 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental employee benefit Paid time off and paid sick time Continuing education support Employee discount Uniform allowance On-the-job training Team appreciation events and outings License/Certification Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)
