Job Summary Southlands Dental, a well established dental office is looking to hire an exceptional dental hygienist to add to their dynamic team. We are seeking candidates who are team players, are able to cultivate patient relationships and have exceptional clinical skills. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented and comfortable with promoting dental health, preventative and periodontal treatments while educating patients. Our office utilizes leading edge technology including Dentrix software, Digital Radiographs, Intraoral camera, Primescan, CBCT and Soft tissue lasers. As a valuable member of our office you will be utilizing these technologies to provider the best dental care to our family of patients. Training is available as needed.

Benefits Pay:

$50-$60/ hour based on experience Hygiene assistant as needed PTO, Holiday pay, 401(k), Monthly bonus, Dental care for you and your immediate family Responsibilities Ensure patient comfort and safety while delivering exceptional care. Perform initial oral health screenings and review medical/dental histories. Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis. Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing using hand instruments and ultrasonics as needed. Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene and preventive care. Take digital X-rays, intraoral photos, Scans and impressions as needed. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and clinical notes while maintaining patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with dentist to support comprehensive treatment planning. Maintain sterilization of instruments and disinfection of operatories, ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations as per OSHA standards. Qualifications and Skills Diploma in Dental Hygiene and an active Registered Dental Hygienist license (required). Experience with Dentrix software preferred. CPR certification. Strong knowledge of dental health and safety regulations such as OSHA, Blood borne pathogens and HIPAA. Positive attitude and proactive demeanor. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in the schedule and procedures. Demonstrate good teamwork. Professionalism and integrity with effective and respectful communication skills. We are a mature cohesive team creating a great office culture.
