In this energized role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health, and support the clinical team with precision and care. Your expertise will help foster a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for at every visit. We are committed to empowering our hygienists with the tools and support needed to excel in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) ensuring accuracy and patient comfort. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems Follow OSHA protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment. Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures and provide compassionate care tailored to pediatric dentistry when applicable. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless workflow using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency. Requirements Active Colorado Dental Hygienist license (or eligibility to obtain) Current CPR/BLS certification Strong communication skills and a warm, patient-first approach Comfort with digital charting and X-ray equipment (we're happy to train on our specific systems) Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $55-65/hr based on experience Sick pay and PTO Paid holidays Flexible schedule Health Insurance 401k with employer match Join us in providing outstanding dental care where your skills make a real difference!
