Dental Hygienist at Comfort Dental North Ave.
Location:
Grand Junction, CO Schedule:
20-40 flexible hours per week
Salary:
$45-50/hour Position Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in promoting oral health and creating positive patient experiences. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with patients and is passionate about patient education and preventive care. Key Responsibilities Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance Conduct oral health assessments and document findings Take and review dental radiographs (X-rays) Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care Assist the dentist in identifying and addressing oral health concerns Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Follow all infection control and safety protocols Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment Qualifications Active Dental Hygienist license in Colorado Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages Prior experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply What We're Looking For A compassionate and patient-focused approach Strong attention to detail and organization A team player who enjoys working in a close-knit environment Reliability and a positive attitude
