Job Description

Job Overview We're looking for a friendly and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team and help us take great care of our patients. In this role, you'll do more than just clean teeth—you'll help patients feel comfortable, understand their oral health, and leave our office with a healthier smile. You'll work alongside a supportive team in a welcoming environment, using modern dental technology to provide high-quality care. This is a paid position and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people and making a real difference in their health. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar Review medical histories, check vital signs, and assess each patient's oral health Take dental X-rays and follow proper infection control and safety protocols Educate patients about good oral hygiene habits and preventive care Keep accurate patient records in our electronic health record system (EHR) Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and maintain a safe clinical environment Skills Experience with dental software such as Dentrix Ascend is a plus Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices Ability to take vital signs, dental imaging, and document patient care accurately Knowledge of medical records, coding basics, and HIPAA compliance Great communication skills and a positive attitude when working with patients and team members Why Join Us?
