Job Description

The role Run a full hygiene schedule in a general dental practice. You own the hygiene operatory start to finish: cleanings, periodontal therapy, charting, imaging, and patient education, with same-day documentation, and a chairside exam handoff to the doctor. What you'll do Run a full daily hygiene column, roughly 6 to 8 patients Perform adult and child prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing Complete six-point periodontal charting and record findings Capture radiographs (bitewings, PAs, FMX, pano) and intraoral photos Review and/or update medical history at every visit Perform oral screenings and flag findings for the doctor Apply fluoride varnish and place sealants Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide within Colorado scope and certification Deliver home-care and periodontal-disease education the patient can repeat back Hand off to the doctor with a clear summary of findings and areas of concern, and support treatment planning Chart all clinical notes and perio data in the practice management system Process instruments and maintain infection control per OSHA, CDC, and practice SOP (i.e. sanitation, line shocks, PPE, etc) What you need Active Colorado dental hygiene license (RDH) Current CPR/BLS Comfortable with digital charting and practice management software
Pay:
$60.00 - $68.00 per hour
