Connecticut Periodontal Specialists is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist for 2-4 days per week , with flexibility depending on the right candidate. Our longtime hygienist recently retired after many years with our practice, leaving an established schedule of wonderful patients who value their periodontal care and the relationships they've built with our team. No Periodontal Experience? That's Okay. We understand that working in a periodontal office may sound more complicated than general hygiene. It doesn't have to be. If you're a good clinician with solid hygiene fundamentals, we'll teach you the periodontal and implant-specific skills you need. You'll work directly with experienced periodontists and an established clinical team who will support you as you become comfortable with specialty care. And there are some things you may find refreshingly simple: A full hour with each patient No production quotas No expectation to sell treatment Doctors handle diagnosis and treatment recommendations An established patient schedule—no patient base to build A clinical environment focused on quality rather than volume Your job is to be a great hygienist and take excellent care of your patients. Periodontal experience is welcome, but absolutely not required. We're happy to train the right hygienist and give you the time and support to become comfortable providing periodontal and implant maintenance.
