Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team! Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current oral health status. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental x-ray equipment, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and preventive care strategies tailored to pediatric dentistry when applicable. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft, ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality. Follow infection prevention management protocols, including aseptic techniques and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in dental care patient education and patient assessment. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding for accurate documentation. Familiarity with EHR systems such as Eaglesoft is highly desirable. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles when working with children or adolescent patients. Skilled in chairside assisting, dental equipment operation, and maintaining infection control standards. Pay:

$46.67 - $56.20 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 per week
