PREREQUISITES FOR POSITION

(Qualification Standards): Education or training:

Dental Assisting:

Bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline required. Dental certifications required.

Years of experience in field:

Three years of related work experience or a combination of work and teaching experience preferred.

Dental Hygiene:

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) or Certified Registered Dental Hygienist (CRDH) in the State of Florida. Bachelor of Applied Sciences (B.A.S.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or higher required. Three years of work experience as a dental hygienist is required, and teaching experience is preferred. • Education must be received from a regionally accredited institution.
