Practice Overview Grand Oaks Dental Care is a modern, private dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and an outstanding patient experience. We offer a wide variety of services including general, cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry, root canals, clear aligner treatment, and more. We also have a strong hygiene program and enjoy taking care of families and their dental needs at every stage of life. Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Treatment Coordinator to join our team at our 42nd Street location . The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of dental experience and be confident discussing treatment recommendations, insurance benefits, and financial options with patients. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will work closely with our doctors and clinical team to help patients understand their recommended treatment and feel confident moving forward with their care. You will play an important role in creating a positive patient experience while helping the practice effectively coordinate and schedule treatment. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position.

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday:
7:30 AM
•5:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch
Wednesday & Friday:
7:30 AM
•3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
Pay:
$19
•22 per hour, based on experience Benefits Health insurance available after 90 days, with 50% of the premium covered by the employer Holiday pay after 90 days Vacation time available after one year 401(k) with employer match after one year Key Responsibilities Present and explain treatment plans to patients in a clear, compassionate, and easy-to-understand manner. Educate patients about their recommended treatment, including the importance and benefits of completing care. Answer patient questions and address concerns regarding recommended treatment. Review insurance benefits, treatment estimates, and expected patient portions. Discuss financial options, payment arrangements, and financing options with patients. Schedule diagnosed treatment while taking into consideration the doctor's recommendations, patient needs, and provider schedules. Follow up with patients who have treatment that has not yet been scheduled. Maintain accurate documentation and notes regarding treatment discussions, financial arrangements, and patient follow-up. Work closely with doctors, hygienists, dental assistants, and the front office team to ensure a smooth patient experience. Assist patients throughout the treatment process and serve as a consistent point of contact for questions regarding their care. Help identify opportunities to improve case acceptance, scheduling, and the overall patient experience. Participate in team meetings, daily huddles, and ongoing training. Provide exceptional customer service and represent Grand Oaks Dental Care in a professional and positive manner. Experience Minimum of 2 years of dental experience required . Previous Treatment Coordinator or dental front office experience strongly preferred. Experience discussing dental treatment and financial options with patients. Knowledge of dental terminology and common dental procedures. Experience with dental insurance and treatment estimates preferred. Experience with Open Dental is a plus. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements with patients. Ability to explain dental treatment in a clear and compassionate manner. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced dental environment. Positive, professional, and patient-focused attitude. Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player. Reliable and accountable with strong follow-through.
