Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and committed Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a state of the art practice and we strive to provide excellent service to our patients. Your main responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. If you are passionate about oral health and enjoy working in a fun environment, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and remove plaque and tartar from teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays and Intra Oral photos
- Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist
- Conduct patient assessments and record medical histories
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and materials
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Florida
- Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental software
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
