Tend, a forward-thinking leader in dental care, is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As part of our innovative and patient-focused staff, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dental services in a comfortable and high-tech environment. This role involves providing preventive and therapeutic dental care, supporting dental health through patient education, and using state-of-the-art technology to enhance patient outcomes and experiences. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and sealant application Assess patients' oral health and report findings to dentists Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures Work collaboratively with the dental team to facilitate outstanding patient care Required Skills Proficiency in dental hygiene practices and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle dental instruments safely Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations Comfortable using dental practice management software
