Full-Time, Non-Exempt Salary Range:
$49.20 to $66.56 per hour, based on experience and skill set. Are you passionate about oral health and community care? Join the team at Hawaiʻi Island Community Health Center (HICHC) as a Dental Hygienist and help us bring brighter smiles and better health to our island community.
What You'll Do:
As a vital part of our dental team, you'll work closely with our Dental Director and dentists to provide high-quality oral care and education to patients of all ages.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing cleanings, scaling, and root planning Educating patients on oral hygiene and healthy habits Administering anesthetics and assisting with procedures Taking and processing radiographs Supporting our Patient-Centered Medical Home model Creating a welcoming and informative experience for every patient
What We're Looking For:
Licensed Dental Hygienist in Hawaiʻi Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program A strong desire to work with children, adolescents, and diverse communities Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit Experience with community programs is a plus See flyer below for exiting details!
