Overview Join our dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! In this role, you will utilize your expertise to provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health, and support a welcoming, professional environment. Your passion for patient care and attention to detail will help foster confident smiles and promote overall wellness. We can offer part-time (3 days a week) or can discuss full-time (considered 4 days a week). Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and evaluating oral health status. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment while ensuring radiation safety protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to enhance their dental health journey. Maintain accurate electronic health records (Dentrix), documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and medical information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Follow infection prevention protocols through aseptic techniques, sterilization procedures, and infection control standards to ensure patient safety. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials. Proven experience in dental care patient education, dental terminology, and use of dental equipment. Proficiency in EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures accurately while maintaining strict safety standards. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance management and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
