  • $45 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Chairside assisting Dental terminology Dentrix Eaglesoft Patient care Registered Dental Hygienist Full Job Description We are looking for a fill-in dental hygienist for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
We are flexible and can work with your schedule.
Position requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Must have positive attitude
  • Registered Iowa License Responsibilities:
  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Assist the dentist during procedures as required
Skills:
  • Proficient in medical coding and documentation
  • Familiarity with medical records management systems, such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Epic
  • Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and aseptic technique
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
  • Ability to operate medical imaging equipment for dental x-rays
