Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This position requires a compassionate individual who is committed to promoting dental hygiene practices and educating patients about their oral health. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and vital signs monitoring. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures while adhering to aseptic techniques. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the management of infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for patient record management and appointment scheduling. Collaborate with dentists to develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide support in pediatric dentistry by engaging with young patients to ensure a positive experience. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and vital signs monitoring. Knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices. Familiarity with dental assisting duties is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Pay:
