Job summary An established, full-service general dental practice in Fairview Heights, Illinois is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join a close-knit team. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday:

7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Wednesday:

8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• No regular weekend hours. Responsibilities
• Provide preventive and periodontal hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and selective polishing.
• Take prescribed dental radiographs, chart periodontal conditions, and treatment plan patient care accurately in Dentrix.
• Review and update medical and dental histories and complete clear clinical notes.
• Manage patient flow efficiently while seeing approximately 10 patients per day.
• Work out of two dedicated hygiene operatories in the manner that best supports an efficient daily routine.
• Perform operatory setup and breakdown while following infection control and HIPAA protocols.
• Collaborate closely with the doctor and front office to support a smooth schedule and positive patient experience.
• Administer nitrous oxide on rare occasions; local anesthesia certification is strongly preferred. Qualifications
• Current Illinois Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
• Local anesthesia certification strongly preferred.
• CPR certification and strong knowledge of infection control standards.
• Comfortable using Dentrix or similar dental software.
• Strong chairside manner, communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
• All experience levels are welcome; compensation is based on experience and clinical ability. Compensation and benefits
• Hourly pay: $45 to $58 per hour, based on experience.
