Your expertise will help foster healthy smiles while ensuring a positive, comfortable experience for every patient, or as we say, our dental family. We are seeking a motivated professional who is passionate about making a difference in patients' lives through personalized conservative dental care. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment while maintaining strict infection prevention protocols Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix), ensuring accurate documentation of patient visits and treatment plans Maintain infection control standards by adhering to HIPAA regulations, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures for dental equipment Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license with current state licensure in good standing Proven experience with dental office management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix (preferred) Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Experience with pediatric dentistry and working with pediatric patients preferred Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control practices, including HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, providing clear client communication and education Embark on a fulfilling career where your skills make a tangible difference! Pay:
