Job Description

Three-day weekend every week Modern technology, including intraoral imaging Established practice with a loyal patient base Collaborative, team-oriented culture Patient-centered philosophy focused on prevention and education Opportunities for continuing education and professional development A practice where your clinical expertise is respected and your voice is valued Supportive doctors and teammates who are committed to providing exceptional care What You'll Do Perform comprehensive preventive dental hygiene services and periodontal therapy Complete thorough periodontal evaluations, including charting, bleeding points, recession, mobility, furcation involvement, and risk assessments Review and update medical histories while recording vital signs and identifying changes in patients' health Evaluate existing restorations and identify areas of concern, including decay and open contacts Capture intraoral photographs and use visual tools to educate patients about their oral health Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and other periodontal procedures as clinically indicated Educate patients on home care, preventive strategies, and the connection between oral health and overall wellness Effectively communicate clinical findings and treatment recommendations with doctors and team members Encourage patients to follow through with recommended treatment and continuing care appointments Maintain accurate electronic clinical documentation and patient records What We're Looking For Active Illinois Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license Current CPR certification Current AED certification Strong knowledge of preventive and periodontal care Excellent communication and patient education skills Passion for building lasting patient relationships Positive, team-oriented attitude Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability Commitment to continuing education and lifelong learning Grow Your Career With Us If you're passionate about helping patients improve their oral health while working in a collaborative, prevention-focused environment, you'll feel right at home at West Suburban Oral Health Care.
