EagleView Community Health System (FQHC) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team at our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Monmouth, IL. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental hygiene care to our diverse patient population, promoting oral health and disease prevention in a community-focused environment. Responsibilities Perform dental hygiene assessments, including reviewing patient medical histories and conducting oral cancer screenings. Provide preventive dental care such as cleanings, scaling, root planing, and fluoride treatments. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care to maintain optimal oral health. Assist dentists during dental procedures as needed. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with FQHC standards and regulations. Ensure infection control protocols and safety standards are strictly followed. Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote oral health awareness. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Illinois. Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or similar community health setting preferred. Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, techniques, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
