The Edgar County Public Health Department and Dental Clinic is looking for a dynamic RDH to join our dental team. Regular dental clinic hours are Monday - Thursday, 40 hrs/week. Duties include:

Perform dental hygiene preventative care, including routine cleanings, periodontal treatment, radiographs, fluoride, and sealants. Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene education Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records Ensure proper sterilization of instruments Preventative community oral health education opportunities and outreach events Qualifications Hold a valid dental hygiene license for Illinois Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions Proficiency in using dental instruments and equipment Excellent communication skills to educate and interact with patients Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with dentists and other dental professionals
