In this role, you will perform thorough cleanings, periodontal charting, and non-surgical therapy, take digital radiographs, and deliver clear, compassionate patient education. You'll uphold strict infection control standards, document accurately in our dental software, and collaborate closely with dentists and team members. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, and non-surgical periodontal therapy Take and interpret digital radiographs following safety protocols Provide patient education on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations Maintain accurate, detailed clinical notes and dental charting in practice software Follow strict infection control and sterilization procedures per OSHA and CDC guidelines Collaborate with dentists and clinical team to develop and support treatment plans Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as indicated Support a welcoming, patient-centered environment and build long-term patient relationships Required Skills Dental prophylaxis and cleanings Periodontal charting and therapy Dental radiography (digital X-rays) Local anesthesia administration (where allowed) Use of dental practice management software Infection control and sterilization Patient oral health education Fluoride and sealant application Dental charting and documentation Impressions and basic chairside assisting
