Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software, including Epic. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic Utilize 3D scanners for imaging when necessary. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care. Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Knowledge of medical coding and familiarity with dental terminology. Experience in medical imaging techniques. Understanding of anatomy relevant to dentistry. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with prosthodontics and endodontics is advantageous. Strong infection control practices to ensure patient safety. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
