Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our private dental office in Garden City, KS. This position is part-time 1-2 days per week. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing high-quality preventive care, educating patients on oral health, and ensuring a comfortable, welcoming experience.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
Perform thorough prophylaxis (cleanings), scaling, root planing (SRP), and periodontal maintenance.
Assessments:
Conduct oral cancer screenings, assess periodontal health, and review medical/dental histories.
Diagnostics:
Take, develop, and interpret digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images.
Patient Education:
Teach and demonstrate proper brushing, flossing, and home-care techniques; communicate individualized oral hygiene strategies.
Compliance & Safety:
Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA infection-control standards and properly sterilize instruments.
Documentation:
Accurately record clinical notes and treatment plans using practice management software.
Qualifications & Requirements Licensure:
Active state Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing.
Skills:
Strong working knowledge of periodontal therapies, excellent chairside manner, and meticulous attention to detail.
Technology:
Familiarity with digital charting and dental practice management software.
Pay:
$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
License/Certification:
Registered Dental Hygienist License (Required)
