Header Overview West side dental office looking to add a part time Registered Dental Hygienist to our dental team. Available days and hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:00-5:00. We are looking for a caring hygienist to provide comprehensive dental hygiene services to our patients. Come make our office your new dental home! Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing. Review medical histories, chart existing dental conditions and inform patients of recommended treatment. Take digital dental radiographs, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis while maintaining radiation safety protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health. Manage electronic dental charts using Eaglesoft. Maintain infection prevention standards by implementing aseptic techniques, sterilizing equipment, and adhering to infection control protocols. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations. CPR certification Proven experience in dental office settings. Exerience with Eaglesoft is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on dental care practices. Commitment to HIPAA compliance management and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
