Jessamine Family Dentistry is growing, and we're excited to add another Registered Dental Hygienist to our team! We are a busy, established practice with a strong patient base and a team that genuinely works well together. We're looking for someone who is dependable, friendly, confident in their clinical skills, and wants to be part of an office where teamwork and patient care both matter. Our goal is to provide excellent dentistry while also creating a work environment that feels positive, supportive, and enjoyable. We work hard, stay busy, and take care of each other along the way. Responsibilities Provide routine and periodontal hygiene care Take dental x-rays and other necessary imaging Complete periodontal charting and clinical notes Educate patients on oral health, home care, and recommended treatment Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide when appropriate Communicate clinical findings with the dentist Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Follow infection control and sterilization protocols Work closely with the clinical and administrative team to keep the day running smoothly What We're Looking For Current Kentucky dental hygiene license Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program Local anesthesia certification preferred Nitrous oxide certification preferred Strong communication skills Dependable, organized, and professional Comfortable working in a busy dental office Someone who enjoys being part of a team Open Dental software experience is helpful, but not required We're looking for someone who wants more than just another hygiene job.
