Charles Street Dental is looking for a warm, skilled, and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a privately owned, relationship-focused dental practice in Boston's South End. What You'll Do Provide thorough, gentle preventive and periodontal care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing as prescribed. Review and update patient medical histories and complete periodontal charting and other appropriate clinical assessments. Take prescribed digital radiographs and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation. Educate patients about oral health, prevention, home care, and recommended treatment in a supportive and approachable manner. Communicate clinical findings with the dentist and collaborate on individualized patient care. Prepare and turn over the hygiene operatory and participate in appropriate sterilization and infection-control procedures. Work collaboratively with the clinical and front-office teams to provide a smooth and positive patient experience. About Our Practice Charles Street Dental is a modern private dental practice serving a wonderful and established patient community in Boston's Back Bay, Bay Village and South End. We emphasize prevention, patient education, conservative treatment, and individualized care. Our office is equipped with modern technology including digital radiography, iTero scanning, electric handpieces, and contemporary clinical equipment. We want our hygienists to be able to focus on providing excellent patient care rather than feeling like they are working in a high-volume environment. We also value clear communication, reliable follow-through, and a willingness to support one another while keeping patient care our first priority. Schedule Part-time or Full-time (32+ hours) We are happy to discuss different schedule options depending on the candidate's availability and the needs of the practice.
