Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team full time or part time. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, x-rays, educating patients on oral hygiene practices in our newly renovated state of the art practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and adherence to HIPAA guidelines. A portion of the position is coverage for maternity leave with the potential for approximately 15 hrs. permanent, to be discussed at interview. Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Assess and record patients' medical histories, vital signs, and overall oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow within the office. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
