Position Description We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and patient-focused Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in Peabody, MA. In this role, you will play a key part in creating positive dental experiences for children and their families while providing preventive care, oral health education, and clinical support in a fun, welcoming, and family-oriented environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with pediatric patients, excels at building trust with children and parents, and is passionate about helping establish healthy oral hygiene habits early in life. Open to both part-time and full-time candidates. Key Responsibilities Perform pediatric dental prophylaxis, fluoride varnish applications, sealants, and preventive treatmentsConduct oral health assessments and review medical and dental historiesTake and process digital radiographs while ensuring patient comfort and safetyEducate children and parents on proper brushing, flossing, nutrition, and cavity preventionUtilize age-appropriate communication techniques to help patients feel comfortable during treatmentAssist in behavior guidance and creating positive dental experiences for anxious or first-time patientsMaintain accurate clinical documentation within the practice management systemAdhere to infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA standardsWork collaboratively with dentists, assistants, and administrative team members to provide outstanding patient carePromote a fun, compassionate, and child-friendly atmosphere throughout the practice Compensation & Benefits $55-$65 per hour, based on experienceQuarterly Bonus ProgramFull-time opportunity availableHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance (for eligible employees)401(k) ProgramFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Supportive and collaborative clinical teamModern technology and strong clinical leadershipConsistent mentorship and professional development opportunitiesPositive, family-focused work environment What We're Looking For Active Massachusetts Dental Hygienist LicenseLocal Anesthesia Certification preferredExperience working with pediatric patients preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to applyExcellent communication and patient education skillsPositive attitude and strong teamwork mentalityPassion for pediatric dentistry and preventive careAbility to create a welcoming and comfortable experience for children and families If you love helping children build healthy smiles and want to join a supportive, patient-centered team, we'd love to hear from you!
