Responsibilities Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal care, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and polishing. Perform periodontal and oral health assessments, digital radiographs, and other diagnostic records as indicated. Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, preventive care, and recommended treatment. Collaborate with dentists to identify patient needs and support comprehensive treatment planning. Maintain accurate electronic clinical documentation and follow all infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety protocols. Qualifications Current Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state requirements. Strong clinical skills with experience in general dentistry preferred. Comfortable with digital dental technology and electronic patient records. Excellent communication, organization, and patient education skills.
