Registered Dental HygienistJob Summary Plymouth Dental Group is seeking a friendly, skilled, and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is passionate about oral health, provides compassionate patient care, and is committed to creating a comfortable and positive experience for patients of all ages. In this role, you will provide preventive and periodontal care, perform patient assessments, take digital X-rays, maintain accurate clinical records, and educate patients about their oral health. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing Provide periodontal therapy according to patients' individual needs Complete periodontal charting and comprehensive oral-health assessments Review patients' medical and dental histories and take vital signs Take digital dental X-rays using proper techniques and safety protocols Document assessments, findings, and treatment accurately in electronic patient records Educate patients about oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations Identify areas of concern and communicate findings clearly to the dentist Prepare treatment rooms and help maintain dental equipment Follow all infection-control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements Work collaboratively with the dentist and other team members Provide compassionate care to both adult and pediatric patients Help create a friendly and welcoming environment for every patient Qualifications Active Massachusetts Dental Hygienist license Current CPR/BLS certification Local anesthesia certification preferred Previous dental-hygiene experience preferred; however, qualified new graduates are welcome to apply Experience with digital X-rays and periodontal charting Familiarity with dental practice-management software, such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, is preferred Strong understanding of dental terminology and infection-control procedures Excellent clinical, communication, patient-education, and customer-service skills Professional, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Ability to work effectively in a busy dental-office environment Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus Position Details Job type: Full-time or part-time

Schedule:

Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Thursday, 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Flexible days may be considered.

$50-$60 base on her experiance
