Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our privately-owned dental practice. In this vital role, you will provide top-quality preventive dental care, educate patients on oral health practices, and support overall patient well-being. Your expertise will help foster a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental care journey. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to promote optimal oral health. Take and develop dental radiographs accurately while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Assess patient medical histories, vital signs, and current health status to inform treatment plans. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency. Follow strict infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and infection control measures, to ensure a safe environment for all. Requirements Valid MA state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials. Proven experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental care. Experience with dental equipment operation, dental x-ray procedures, and medical imaging techniques. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about dental care and hygiene practices. Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control standards, including HIPAA compliance management. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately, including vital signs measurement and medical record documentation review. •In addition to the hourly rate we offer a bonus system for additional procedures performed such as scanning for nightguards, sealants, SDF, etc.

From $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 36.0 per week
