Responsibilities

Provide preventive and periodontal care with a focus on patient comfort, education, and clinical quality

Take the time to understand each patient's needs and concerns

Help patients understand their oral health and feel confident in their treatment

Build trusting, long-term relationships with patients

Collaborate with dentists and clinical team members to provide coordinated care

Maintain accurate and timely clinical records

Contribute to a respectful, positive, and patient-focused practice environment

Utilize Dentrix, Overjet AI for accurate, cloud-based charting and clinical records

Perform thorough preventive and periodontal therapies, including scaling and root planing (SRP) and prophylaxis

Help create a welcoming, professional, and patient-focused environment

Requirements

Current Maryland Dental Hygienist license

Strong clinical and patient-education skills
