Duties:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
• Take dental x-rays
• Conduct oral cancer screenings
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations
• Administer local anesthesia as needed
• Assist in seeing and discussing treatment with New Patients.
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
• Document patient treatment plans and progress in dental software Dentrix.
• 1 Hour per Patient.

Requirements:

• Valid dental hygienist license in MD
• Associate's degree or higher in dental hygiene
• Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix.
• Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Note:

Experience with specific software systems like Dentrix is desired.
