Our growing practice is looking for a licensed dental hygienist to join our team. We are excited about the prospect of bringing you on board and having your help in building our practice! Our practice provides a wide range of general dental services for the whole family in a modern, clean, and relaxing environment. We are looking for a competent dental hygienist who will make visits to the office fun and pleasant for all patients. You will be the first line of preventative treatment and will be vital to the success of our office

Duties & Responsibilities:

Review medical and dental histories from patients Chart dental conditions and educate patients accordingly Perform prophylaxis, SRP, and sterilize dental instruments and tools Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental and oral hygiene care Take X-rays of patients and develop them for review with the dentist Help with presentation of treatment plans for patients Sterilize instruments according to OSHA regulations

Qualifications:

Valid and current license to practice dental hygiene in the state of Maryland Completion of an accredited dental hygiene training program 1-2 years of dental hygiene experience is preferred
