Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dentist and other staff members to deliver comprehensive dental services while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients. Assess and document medical records, including patient history and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Administer local anesthesia as needed and assist in various dental procedures. Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Utilize dental software systems, such as Eaglesoft, for managing patient records efficiently. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist within a dental office setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and hygiene practices. Familiarity with infection control standards and protocols in a clinical environment. Experience with assisting in various dental procedures is a plus. Proficiency in using dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft, is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively on oral health matters. $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
