Position Overview:

Our growing, privately owned (not big corporation) general and cosmetic dentistry practice in the Rockville/Gaithersburg area is seeking a second energetic, motivated, and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a modern practice passionate about delivering high-quality, comprehensive dental care. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings and educate patients on oral health and preventative care. Administer local anesthetics (if licensed). Take dental X-rays as required. Ensure accurate dental documentation and recordkeeping, including medical records and patient charts. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory and compliance standards to ensure patient safety and quality of care.

Qualifications:

MUST hold both an active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Maryland and Dental Radiation Technologist certificate in the state of Maryland. CPR and BLS certification. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both internally and with patients. Energetic and enthusiastic about being a part of a team-oriented private practice. Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix experience preferred) Positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for patients and team members. Why Join Us?
