Job Summary We are a busy, family-friendly dental practice looking for a flexible Registered Dental Hygienist. Do you want a work schedule that fits your life? Responsibilities Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent decay and gum disease. Conduct initial patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental concerns. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment while ensuring proper safety protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times. Follow infection prevention management protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials. Valid BLS Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in dental care patient education and clinical procedures. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding for documentation review. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable. Strong understanding of infection control standards, healthcare infection prevention, and HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 40.0 per week
