About Our Office Join Our Dental Family! We are expanding our Hygiene Team in our Growing General Dentist's office located in Kennebunk, and looking to hire a dental hygienist! Our team is fueled by a passion for dentistry, while committed to delivering, and encouraging a pragmatic patient experience. Hours Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday:
9AM-5PM (1PM-2PM lunch)
Friday:
Optional- office open 9-3pm We are seeking a hygienist who is interested in working 3-3.5 days per week to start. A Full-Time position can/will be available as patient and practice needs change. Benefits Paid Time Off Uniform Stipend Dental services for employees and eligible dependents Retirement Plan with Employer Match - Part-time employees are eligible after 1 year of employment CE Reimbursement Benefits package will grow as practice continues to grow Duties Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments Perform non-surgical periodontal procedures including Scaling/Root Planing and Periodontal Maintenance Take dental x-rays and other dental imaging as needed Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for maintaining good oral health Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure aseptic technique and prevent the spread of disease Qualifications Valid state of Maine license to practice as a dental hygienist Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene Local Anesthesia license preferred Valid CPR certification preferred Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change or modification at any time.
