Job Description

Overview- Tuesdays and Thursdays We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health. This role involves working closely with patients of all ages, including children, in both general and pediatric dentistry settings. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene services while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in our dental clinic. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and oral examinations. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Utilize medical imaging technologies to capture diagnostic images as needed. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure all dental instruments are sterilized and prepared for use. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in a supportive environment. Experience A valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required. Experience in both pediatric and general dentistry is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with medical imaging equipment and techniques is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office or clinic setting. Previous experience assisting in a dental office is a plus.
