Kevin VanderHeide DDS is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dental team. We are located on the north end of Caledonia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of oral conditions. The RDH will work closely with dentists and other team members to ensure exceptional patient care and a positive patient experience.

• 8•5pm Tuesday•7•1pm Wednesday•9•5pm Thursday•7•1pm Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and examinations.

Conduct routine dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance. Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays) as permitted by state regulations. Screen patients for signs of oral diseases, including periodontal disease, caries, and oral cancer. Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment recommendations. Administer local anesthesia if permitted by state law and licensure. Apply fluoride treatments, dental sealants, and other preventive therapies. Collaborate with dentists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines. Maintain and sterilize instruments and operatory equipment. Support a welcoming and professional environment for patients and team members.
