Our applicants must possess the ability to assess, perform and use great communication skills to reinforce treatment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth. Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in the preparation of treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is sterilized and ready for use. Utilize Dentrix for patient documentation and scheduling. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Proficiency in documentation review and familiarity with dental software Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health. Ability to work well within a team environment while providing exceptional patient care. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
