Job Summary Growing fun private practice located in Howell looking for a part time OR full time friendly registered hygienist. Must be a team player, experienced with clinical notes, treatment planning, digital x-rays, great with patients and dependable. New graduates welcomed. You will also have an assistant to facilitate your job. Dentrix user a plus! Looking forward to hearing from you! Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients. Assess and record patients' medical histories, vital signs, and dental conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Utilize Dentrix software for patient records management and scheduling. Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with dental regulations. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care. Stay current with dental terminology, procedures, and best practices. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred but we also welcome new graduates. Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial . Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
