Take dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper technique and patient comfort while maintaining radiation safety protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with accuracy, documenting all treatments, assessments, and patient interactions thoroughly. Maintain infection prevention standards by adhering to sterilization procedures, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance to protect patient confidentiality. Qualifications Valid Michigan state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials. Proven experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry environments preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental care. Excellent communication skills for client education and team collaboration; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
