Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and vital signs to ensure safe treatment plans Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their needs Take X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in electronic health record (EHR) system. Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a sterile environment Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist Proven experience in dental office environments, with familiarity in general dentistry Proficiency with dental terminology, medical terminology, and documentation review for accurate patient records management Knowledge of EMR systems for efficient charting and record keeping Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures Join us in making a difference by providing top-tier dental care!
