Overview :

. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality oral care and education to patients, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment. As a key member of our dental team, you will play an essential role in promoting good oral health practices and assisting in the overall patient experience. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments. Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Document patient information accurately, including treatment plans and progress notes. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed. Stay updated with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards. Utilize Open Dental software for patient management and documentation review. Skills Proficient in dental office protocols and procedures. Strong understanding of aseptic technique to prevent infection. Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy knowledge. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Ability to take vital signs accurately and assess patient conditions. Experience in dental assisting is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interaction. Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and patient assessment.
